About PNW Bar Info

Know before you go

Our Mission

PNW Bar Info is a free resource for Pacific Northwest mariners, anglers, and boaters to quickly check bar crossing conditions before heading out on the water. We aggregate official data from NOAA and the US Coast Guard to provide real-time status updates for bar crossings from California to Washington.

Safety First: Bar conditions change rapidly. Always contact the US Coast Guard bar station directly before attempting any bar crossing. PNW Bar Info is an informational tool, not a replacement for official guidance.
